This is a fanlisting for the feud between the characters of Barbara Ryan and Rose D'Angelo on the CBS daytime drama, As The World Turns.
Rose and Barbara have been at each other's throats practically since Rose came to Oakdale and at the heart of this feud? Barbara's son, Paul. Rose's only crime? Falling in love with Barbara's son, Paul. Rose isn't what you would call an upper society woman, she's from Jersey and well let's just say that didn't sit well with Barbara.
Barbara never thought Rose was good enough for Paul and she even paid Paul's former best-friend Dusty Donovan to seduce Rose. Too bad Rose took the bait because Paul caught them and learned the whole truth. And when he did, he left town. Paul was believed to have perished when his plane went down...which further intesified this feud because Barbara blamed Rose for Paul's 'death.'
The feud between them intensified even more when Paul returned. Paul decided to try and win Rose back from Dusty despite his mother's protests. But sadly, Rose was killed. And this feud is now officially over on the show. But it's not the end of the fanlisting. The listing will stay up for a very long time to come.
