This is a fanlisting for the character of Pompey, from the defunct show Xena, Warrior Princess.
Pompey was portrayed by Jeremy Callaghan.
Pompey was one of the featured Romans who was on the show. He first appeared in When In Rome and we soon learned that though he was a part of the Roman Triumverite with Julius Caesar, he didn't like him. Pompey was sneaky and underhanded at times, but he always made his feelings about you known. Though he met the business end of Xena's sword, he was an integral part of the show's storyline when he was on there and he's been one very unforgettable character at that.
Why the name Magnus? Because Pompey was called Lord Pompey the Magnus. Magnus was short for Magnificent.
